Why is it important to create an outline before writing a paper? What web tool did you choose to start building your outline in? How would you evaluate the tool? Easy to use, difficult, fun, pretty looking, etc.
It's useful to create an outline before actually writing an essay. Why? Your thoughts will be more organized, and writing the essay itself will come more naturally. The end result, too, will be more organized and will make more sense to readers. I chose to use "bubbl.us" to create my outline. It's a very simple tool. It's extremely easy to use, it looks neat, and is easily exported and shared.
